Saturday Night Fever Hits CEF AuctionOver 120 guests gathered at The International in Bolton on April 9 to boogie the night away in support of Carlisle Public Schools. Revelers in 70s threads gathered in a room decorated with disco lights, lava lamps, glittery curtains and funky jello centerpieces for cocktails and appetizers followed by a delicious gourmet meal. Following dinner, guests were treated to the world premiere of the 2011 CEF Auction video (see link on the home page to view) followed by lively bidding hosted by auctioneer Doug Stinson. CEF is thrilled to report that we raised over $53,000 at the event, including $18,000 to kick off fundraising for the new school building capital campaign. CEF wishes to thank all of the guests who helped support Carlisle Schools with their generous gifts. We would also like to thank the tireless volunteers who helped organize, decorate and manage the event. It was a fantastic success and we are so thankful for your support and generosity.
